Money...Money...Money....Is Hub pages for Real?

Whoever jumped on to the Hubpages thinking of quick money, please read on.

Quick Money ? Not Really.

Think Hard. Look around and do a complete research. You will find that not many had made a big buck from Hub Pages. Those who have made it would have made that in any other way as well....it is because of their creative/intellectual content.

Take a paper, pencil and a calculator.

1. Write the amount of money you want to make in a particular time frame.

2. Calculate the amount of traffic you would need to achieve that money, based on the current adsense & other rates.

3. Roughly estimate an amount of hubpages you would need to create to achieve the required traffic.

4. Factor in the continuing evolving nature of internet...

1. Somebody else could write a better hubpage before you realise, stealing the traffic
2. Some better technology may evolve taking the limelight away from hubpages
   

5. Calculate the labour involved in creating each Hubpage.

6. Did you get the amount of man power required to make the money you thought of making through hubpages? Now if you apply the regular wages to that amount of man power, does it exceed the amount you actually wanted to make?

7. Do you really think, you can pull it off all the labor if you are not passionate about...

If you are really good with contents, a few hubs should be sufficient, with hardly any labor, to achieve greater success

yes.Hang on to Hubpages if you are passionate about expressing yourself, willing to share your knowledge, life experiences for the benefit of others.

If your contents somehow made it to commercial, money may trickle in...in the long run...

Otherwise, you would still gain the satisfaction of having created intellectual property(hubpages) with your own ideas....you win either ways.

As for me, I have joined hubpages after getting directed to hubpages quite a few times for my queries in google...I found lots of hubs with very valuable information. Coupled with this, my pent up desire to contribute something to the net, drawn me into the hubpages..
